- This standard specifies the requirements for the design, materials, testing and inspection, welding, marking, storage and transportation of gas lift valves, check valves, orifice valves, blind valves and wire castable valve eccentric cylinders. The purpose of formulating this standard is to improve product quality, but it does not guarantee the interchangeability of product dimensions between manufacturers. This standard is applicable to oil well gas lift valves, check valves, orifice valves, blind valves and the receivers for the above valves - wire castable valve eccentric mandrels, or to oil well production and processing oil and gas wells.
