This procedure specifies the preparation method of fluid loss additive evaluation suspension for water-based drilling fluids and its use in fresh water, 4% brine and saturated brine under six temperature conditions, namely 24±3℃, 70℃, 120℃, 150℃ ℃, 180 ℃, 200 ℃ evaluation procedures and calcium contamination test. This procedure is suitable for evaluating the fluid loss reducing ability of carboxymethyl cellulose, starch, humic acid and other fluid loss reducing agents.
