Scope
This document specifies the inspection and calibration methods for testing machines used for instrumented indentation tests in accordance with GB/T21838.1-2019. This document describes the direct test method for checking the main function of the testing machine and the indirect test method suitable for determining the repeatability of the testing machine. In addition to the direct inspection method, the indirect inspection method is also used for the routine periodic inspection of the testing machine in use. The indirect inspection of the testing machine shall be carried out separately for each test method. This document also applies to portable testing machines.
