- This standard specifies the dimensions, technical requirements, test methods and markings of butt welded pipe fittings made of carbon steel, low alloy steel and stainless steel, including elbows and reducing joints with a nominal diameter of 15-600mm (1/2-24in) , tees, crosses and pipe caps. This standard applies to steel butt welding pipe fittings used in industrial pipelines such as petroleum, chemical industry, electric power, shipbuilding, light industry, etc. If users have special requirements, pipe fittings can be supplied according to special requirements after negotiation between the supplier and the buyer.
