- This standard is applicable to the inspection and assessment of the production quality of oilfield-specific heating furnaces in petroleum construction projects and oilfield steel welded vessels that meet the following conditions. The jurisdiction of this standard is the container and its integral connected parts, which have been delineated within the scope of the following provisions. 1 The connection between the container and the pipeline: 1) The first circumferential weld between the container nozzle and the outer pipeline; 2) The first threaded joint of the threaded connection; 3) The first flange sealing surface of the flange connection; 4 ) The first sealing surface of a special connector or pipe connection.
