Scope
This standard should be used in conjunction with IEC Standard No. 315-1 and Standard No. 315-2: "Measurement methods of radio receivers for various types of emission, Part 2: Measurements particularly related to the radio frequency part of the receiver" and, where applicable, also To be used in conjunction with those parts dealing with measurements made on the particular type of receiver being tested, which currently includes IEC 315-4: "Methods of measurement of radio receivers of various types of emission, Part 4: FM sound broadcasting receivers" RF measurements". The measurement conditions and measurement methods described in this standard are used to evaluate the protection ability of FM receivers against pulse interference. This pulse interference may be generated by the ignition system of the internal combustion engine or other pulse interference with a similar repetition frequency. Pulse interference is simulated by a signal generator that generates short pulses with a repetition rate of 100Hz. The measurement methods described in this standard are applicable to interference entering through normal antenna loops, and are particularly suitable for FM broadcast receivers in the frequency range between 41 MHz and 108 MHz. They are applicable to both AC receivers and battery-powered receivers. .
