- Scope
- This part should be used in conjunction with IEC244-1 and other parts. This part describes the methods and conditions used to test the output signal quality of the transmitter. These methods apply to: ——Radiotelephone or sound broadcasting AM transmitters with full carriers; ——Single or multi-channel (not more than four) radiotelephone AM transmitters with attenuated or suppressed carriers; ——Single-channel AM transmitters FM transmitter for channel broadcast^(*). In some cases, it is also applicable to multi-channel voice telegraph AM transmitters that reduce the amplitude of the carrier or suppress the carrier.
