- This standard relates specifically to mobile single-sideband AM radio receivers for receiving voice and other types of signals with audio bandwidths generally not exceeding 10 kHz. This standard is used together with the SJ/Z 9095.1 (IEC 489-1) standard "General Definitions and Standard Measurement Conditions". The supplementary terms, definitions and measurement conditions specified in this standard are applicable to type testing and can also be used for acceptance testing.
