Scope
This standard specifies the method for measuring the magnetic properties of cylindrical, tubular and threaded magnetic cores. The method is to place the test magnetic core in a specified coil and position the core at a specified position relative to the coil. By measuring the The inductance L and quality factor Q of the coil are used to determine the magnetic properties of the core. During the test, the magnetic core is generally evaluated by making relative measurements against the standard magnetic core. The magnetic cores included in this standard have a length of not less than 45mm, a diameter of not more than 8.5mm, and a frequency of use not higher than 100MHz. The size specifications of the above magnetic cores are IEC Standard No. 220; "Dimensions of ferromagnetic oxide tubes, needles, and columns" ” and No. 221: “Dimensions of threaded magnetic cores made of ferromagnetic oxides”. The magnetic properties of ferrite antenna rods are measured according to the provisions of GB6936 "Measurement Method of Antenna Rods".
