- Scope
- This standard applies to multi-electrode electron tubes except cathode ray tubes. It stipulates the numbering method of electrodes of the same type in multi-electrode electron tubes and the naming method of each unit of multi-unit electron tubes. An electron tube composed of two or more similar units, each unit number is given according to the arrangement of the pins. The pinout of any type cannot be determined by the methods of this standard. The names determined in this standard also apply to other components of the electron tube, such as heating wires, shields, etc.
