- This standard specifies the testing and reporting of shooting lag, shutter lag, shooting speed and startup time of digital cameras (including shooting modules for mobile phones and tablets), including a method for testing using internal control signals of digital cameras, and a A method to obtain time values without disassembling a digital camera. Because the method uses a timing device, there may be a delay between turning on the timing device and closing the camera's exposure button. This standard does not apply to the measurement of autofocus accuracy and speed in low-light environments. For digital cameras that continuously capture images into the buffer, since the function of the exposure button is only to select previously captured images, the method of testing shutter lag and shooting lag in this standard is not applicable to this type of digital camera.
