Scope

This standard specifies the integrity requirements and inspection and assessment methods for the (electrical) parts of diesel generator sets. This standard is applicable to land-based domestic fixed three-phase alternating current generators with a rated frequency of 50Hz, a rated power factor of 0.8 (lag), and a diesel engine as the prime mover.
