Scope

This standard specifies the quality levels and requirements for telephones. This standard applies to rotary dial telephones, pulse push button telephones and dual tone multi-frequency push button telephones and is the basis for assessing the quality level of such products. Other types of telephones can be used as a reference. This standard does not apply to product sorting.
