- This standard specifies the standard method for rapid diagnosis of LTSE of food coliforms and the principles for judging the results. This standard is applicable to the rapid determination of coliform bacteria in various foods, tableware and drinking water. The content of coliforms detected by this standard method indicates the degree of fecal contamination and indirectly indicates the possibility of the presence of intestinal pathogenic bacteria.
