- This standard gives methods for measuring the electrical characteristics of antennas used in terrestrial wireless relay systems operating at frequencies above 1 GHz. The measurement methods given are applicable to both line-of-sight wireless relay systems and tropospheric scattering wireless relay systems using linear polarization. This standard does not study measurement methods for passive repeaters or periscope antennas, nor does it cover those systems where the antennas cannot be measured individually.
