Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for general-purpose FC-PC single-mode single-core optical fiber cable movable connectors and standard connectors in terms of graphics and interconnection dimensions, optical properties, optical fiber cables and bonding materials; measurement and test methods, detection and marking , packaging, transportation and storage conditions. This standard applies to PC-type single-mode optical fiber movable connectors, including plugs and adapters.
