- This standard is applicable to the billing performance testing of long-distance offices and local end offices in use on fixed telephone networks. The test objects include switch billing systems and related billing processing systems (front-end collection machines, billing centers, accounting centers, etc.). This standard specifies the technical specifications and test methods for switch billing systems and related billing processing systems. The billing performance testing of private network equipment connected to the public telecommunications network can be performed with reference to this standard. This standard does not involve inter-network accounting and human-network detection.
