Scope

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, labels, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage of oral X-ray machines. This standard applies to oral X-ray machines. This standard does not apply to dental machines equipped with high-frequency X-ray generators. This product is used by medical units for dental X-ray photography.
