Scope

This standard specifies the testing methods and calculation methods for the energy balance of prebaked anode aluminum electrolytic cells with closed intermediate point feeds for the cryolite-alumina molten salt electrolysis method. This standard is applicable to the testing and calculation of the energy balance of prebaked anode aluminum electrolytic cells using cryolite-alumina molten salt electrolysis for sealed intermediate-point feeding at five points and six points at large.
