Scope

This standard specifies the definitions and symbols of the drop weight tear test of transportation steel pipes, test equipment, specimens, specimen testing, specimen evaluation and test reports, etc. This standard is applicable to the determination of fracture toughness of transportation steel pipes with an outer diameter not less than 508mm and a steel grade not less than L360.
