- This standard specifies the type, basic dimensions, technical requirements, face testing methods, face inspection rules, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. of ball core angled plug doors for railway freight cars (hereinafter referred to as spherical core angled plug doors). This standard applies to new ball-core angular plug doors for railway freight cars. This standard is not equivalent to the AARS-470 spherical angled plug door approval technical conditions.
