- This standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection rules, quality acceptance and flaw detection records for magnetic particle flaw detection of cast steel bolsters and side frames of new railway freight cars. This standard is applicable to the magnetic particle inspection of cast steel bolsters and side frames of new railway freight cars of type 8A, 8G, K2, K4, K5 and K6, as well as the magnetic particle inspection of cast steel bolsters and side frames of other new railway freight cars. You can also refer to this standard for implementation.
