- This standard specifies the wiring rules for locomotive electrical equipment. This standard applies to the wiring and wiring between electrical equipment of railway electric locomotives, diesel locomotives and electric multiple units. Overhauled locomotives should also be used as a reference. Special requirements different from this standard shall be stipulated by the product technical conditions after consultation between the user and the manufacturer.
