- Scope
- This standard specifies the instruments and equipment, sample preparation, test procedures, test records, etc. used for flame spread tests on non-metallic materials for railway vehicles (hereinafter referred to as materials). This standard is applicable to supplementary testing of the following materials: a) Hard materials are penetrated by radiation without burning during the radiation test; b) Soft materials are penetrated by radiation without burning during the electric burner test.
