Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods and test rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of 25kV, 50Hz vacuum circuit breakers (hereinafter referred to as circuit breakers) for locomotives and EMUs. This standard applies to vacuum circuit breakers for locomotives and EMUs, but does not apply to air circuit breakers.
