- This standard specifies the preparation, test methods, technical requirements and report format for routine core analysis. This standard is applicable to the testing and analysis of drilling cores, well wall cores and surface outcrop rock samples during the exploration and development of oil and gas reservoirs. The analysis of other cores should also be carried out accordingly.
