- This standard specifies the calibration methods of instruments and meters used in the analysis of hydrocarbon fluids in condensate gas reservoirs, the inspection of oil and gas samples, and the preparation, sample transfer, analytical testing and calculation methods of formation hydrocarbon fluids. This standard is applicable to the operation of piston-type PVT instruments with windows. Other types of PVT instruments can be implemented with reference.
