Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, position test rules and markings for gray iron castings (hereinafter referred to as castings). This standard is applicable to sand molds or casting molds with equivalent thermal conductivity for railway rolling stock (including railway potting machines) Cast bell parts. Other bell-shaped cast prayer parts are still used today.
