Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for the outer coating of buried steel pipelines using fused epoxy powder coating as the film-forming material. This standard applies to the design, construction and acceptance of sintered epoxy powder outer coatings for single-layer steel pipeline structures. Coated steel pipes can be used in underground or underwater pipeline facilities with operating temperatures of -30°C to 100°C. The design, construction and acceptance of the fused epoxy powder outer coating of the single-layer structure of steel pipelines should not only comply with the rules of this standard, but also comply with the relevant national mandatory standards.
