Scope

This standard specifies the metallographic characteristics of diesel engine cylinder liners for diesel locomotives with a cylinder diameter of 207 to 280 mm made of chromium-molybdenum copper, chromium-molybdenum-copper-boron, medium-phosphorus nickel-chromium-molybdenum copper, medium-phosphorus copper-vanadium-titanium and medium-phosphorus vanadium-titanium cast iron materials, and sand castings. Technical requirements, inspection rules and rating methods. This standard applies to cast iron cylinders of diesel engines for internal combustion locomotives with a bore diameter of 207~280mm.
