- This standard specifies the basic technical parameter requirements and measurement methods for the digital sound part of multi-channel television receivers using NICAM dual-channel digital sound system. This standard applies to television broadcast receivers that comply with GY/T 129-1997 "Technical Specifications for PAL-D Television Broadcasting Additional Two-Channel Digital Sound" and also applies to multi-channel equipment using NICAM dual-channel digital sound.
