Scope

This standard specifies the high-temperature load reliability requirements and test methods for electronic tuners used in television broadcast receivers. This standard is applicable to the reliability qualification test of tuners produced in single batches, and also to the reliability verification test of tuners produced in continuous batches. This standard assumes that the tuner failure distribution follows an exponential distribution.
