- This standard applies to crystal components made of natural crystal or artificial crystal. This standard should be used together with the following standards: Standard SJ/Z 9001-87 (IEC 68) "Basic Environmental Test Procedures"; Standard SJ/Z 9156-87 (IEC 283) "Parasitic Resonant Frequency and Equivalent Resonance Frequency of Filter Crystal Components" "Measurement method of resistance"; SJ/9157-87 (JEC 302) standard "Standard definition and measurement method of piezoelectric vibrators operating frequency up to 30MHz" and SJ/z 9154-87 (IEC 444) standard "Using zero Basic method for measuring the resonant frequency and equivalent series resistance of quartz crystal elements in pi-shaped networks using phase techniques." This standard gives general information on various frequency control and selection quartz crystal components and specifies general test methods. The applicability of these tests to each type of crystal element and the specific requirements for each test will be given in the product leaflet specification relevant to that type of crystal element.
