Scope

This document specifies the use of the gel culture method for the determination of microbial content in aviation fuels under laboratory conditions. When this method determines the oil phase in aviation fuel, the detection range is 0 CFU/L~10000000 CFU/L; when measuring the water phase in aviation fuel, the detection range is 0 CFU/mL~1000000 CFU/mL.
