This regulation stipulates the requirements for the design, manufacturing, inspection and testing of heavy-duty centrifugal pumps, their drivers and auxiliary equipment in the petrochemical industry. These regulations apply to the engineering design and equipment procurement of heavy-duty centrifugal pumps in the petrochemical industry. Other industries can refer to this implementation. Heavy-duty centrifugal pumps in the petrochemical industry should meet any of the following conditions: a) Unless otherwise specified, used for explosion-risk media or extremely and highly toxic media; b) Used for non-explosion-risk or moderately toxic media Or in situations where the medium is slightly hazardous, but the operating conditions exceed any of the following restrictions: 1) The rated discharge pressure is greater than 1.9MPa (G); 2) The operating temperature (medium temperature) is greater than or equal to 225°C; 3) The rated speed is greater than 3000r/min ; 4) The rated head is greater than 120m; 5) The maximum suction pressure is greater than 0.5MPa(G); 6) The maximum impeller diameter of the cantilever pump is greater than 330mm; c) The pump runs in reverse and is used as a hydraulic recovery turbine. Note: The pump type classification involved in this regulation refers to Article 1.1.2 of API Std 610-1995.
