Scope

This standard specifies test methods and float rate calculations for rigid spherical plastic floats such as diameter, mass (weight), buoyancy, impact resistance, working pressure, crushing pressure, etc. This standard is suitable for testing the physical and mechanical properties of hard spherical plastic floats for fishing. The tests for other shapes of hard plastic floats can also be used as a reference.
