The method specified in this standard is suitable for the determination of the bonding strength between tin, lead, copper and aluminum-based bearing alloy materials and steel backings with an alloy layer thickness greater than or equal to 2mm. Used to accept products and evaluate the impact of manufacturing defects on the quality of bearing bimetallic nodules. It can also be used to control product quality and study the effects of various process methods and different bearing bimetal bonding strengths. For bearings or bimetals whose alloy layer thickness is less than 2mm, it is recommended to use the method of compound rate A in this standard.
