- This standard specifies the types, dimensions, technical requirements, test methods, marking, inspection and packaging, transportation and storage of air conditioning hoses and hose assemblies for transporting liquid or gaseous HFC-134a refrigerant in automobile air conditioning systems. This standard applies to rubber or thermoplastic hoses and hose assemblies used to transport liquid or gaseous HFC-134a refrigerant in automobile air conditioning systems. The hose should be designed to reduce the penetration of HFC-134a and environmental pollution as much as possible, and can be used in the temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
