Scope

This standard specifies the general technical requirements, inspection rules and requirements for marking, packaging, transportation and storage of automotive hydraulic torque converters. This standard applies to hydraulic torque converters for cars, buses, trucks, off-road vehicles and special vehicles. Hydromechanical torque converters for automobiles can also be implemented with reference.
