- This standard specifies the definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, applicable instructions, on-board documents, transportation, storage and quality assurance of insulated trucks and refrigerated trucks. This standard applies to insulated trucks, refrigerated trucks, insulated semi-trailers, and refrigerated semi-trailers (referred to in this standard as mechanically refrigerated refrigerated trucks) modified from type II chassis. Other types of refrigerated trucks may also be implemented by reference.
