- This standard specifies the measurement methods for water vapor transmission, transmission rate and transmission coefficient of rigid foam plastics. This standard applies to rigid foam plastics. The sample can be the main part of the material, or it can have a natural skin layer or a surface layer adhered to a different material. This method is suitable for materials with water vapor transmission capacity in the range of 200μg/(m2·s)~3000μg/(m2·s).
