This standard specifies the tooth shape, code and parameters of the face gear of timing instruments. This standard is applicable to the gear transmission of the vertical intersecting axes with a module of 0.07~1mm when the face gear and the cylindrical gear mesh in the needle setting mechanism of watches and pocket watches.
