Scope

1   Scope This document defines the general terms to be used in the standards of metallic materials for aerospace applications. It is intended only to give terms which are truly general and where definition, in this context, is required. The definitions of more specific terms are to be found in the technical specifications, test methods, etc. which are referenced in the material standard concerned.
