- This standard specifies the UV spectrophotometric method for determining the content of D-panthenol in cosmetics. This standard is applicable to the determination of D-drug in cosmetics. When this method interferes, it is recommended to use high performance liquid chromatography for determination. The minimum limit for the quantitative detection of D-panthenol in this standard is 0.03%.
