- This standard specifies the classification and naming, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of spherical door locks (hereinafter referred to as "ball locks"). This standard applies to spherical door locks installed on wooden doors, steel doors, aluminum alloy doors and plastic doors. This standard does not apply to anti-theft security door locks.
