- This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of pipe thread hinge plates and dies. This standard applies to pipe thread hinge plates (hereinafter referred to as "pipe hinge plates") and dies for manually reaming steel pipe threads for low-pressure fluid transportation with outer diameters of 21.3 mm to 114 mm.
