- Scope
- This standard specifies the requirements for paper and cardboard ink absorbency testers, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage. This standard applies to ink absorbency testers for white or nearly white, coated or uncoated paper and cardboard used in offset, gravure, and letterpress printing. Periodic technical status inspections during use of the ink meter should also be used with reference.
