This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and nomenclature, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements for household and similar electric steam ovens. This standard applies to household and similar electric steam ovens with a single-phase rated voltage not exceeding 250V. This standard does not apply to electric steam ovens for commercial use. This standard sets out requirements for the unique properties of electric steam ovens such as standby and shutdown power consumption, steam generation time, steam load heating rate, steam continuous working time, steam uniformity, sealing, steam and barbecue cooking performance, etc.
