This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage of leather for shoe uppers. This standard applies to all kinds of leather for shoe uppers made from pig, cow, sheep and other animal skins using various processes and various drafting agents. Leather for soft bags can be used as a reference. This standard does not apply to transferred leather.
