Scope

This standard specifies the structural type, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of cast iron smooth rollers and cast iron rubber-coated rollers for papermaking machinery. This standard applies to various press rolls used in paper machines that can withstand a linear pressure of no more than 250kN/m and have a diameter of less than 1500mm.
